Our amazing 20 day journey to New Zealand :) Thank you Rini for hosting us in Wellington! I <3ed every minute of it. And getting to see Rini and Kali again made our trip that much better ^^ We started off doing a whirlwind tour of the South Island in 10 days...

Wellington -> Picton -> Lake Tekapo -> Lake Wanaka -> Queenstown -> Te Anau -> Fiorland -> Christchurch -> Kaikora -> Blenheim -> Wellington!

I don't think we even stayed in the same accomandation more than one night, it was definitiely on the go go go :)

After a couple days of rest in Wellington and reuniting with Kali (yay!) We took off again for the North Island adventure :
Wellington -> Waitomo caves -> Tongarino Alpine Crossing -> Wellington

Wrapped up our journey with wine tasting at Martinborough and lots of yummy home cook korean meal (Thanks Susan!). It was one of the best trip and I cannot wait for the next one... Patagonia...? :P

There I said it! :) I'm so used to making everything smooth and nice for game anim, when it comes to mechanical bits with nuts and bolts I'm completely stuck! And no.. just using a rumble script only makes my animation look like someone with Parkinson's ... not good :/

I thought I was being a smarty pants finally by signing up with google's blog (Blogger..as in here), I tried registering the address namrac.blogger.com but it tells me the name is unavailable. Disappointed with that I tried a few other addresses with no luck. Just as I was about to give up and move back to livejournal I decided to check who the heck would register with the name "namrac". And...! turns out that was me back in 2005. Silly me :)

Now if theres an button that merges my LJ and Blogger entries together...

Thus far it has been an interesting trip to the "Oz". From lost lugguage to scratches on the roof of the campervan to the attack of the cockroaches... I wish I have more access to the internet so I can put everything down in detail :P I'll definitely do that with pictures posted later on once I have a chance.

So far the beaches I've seen is amazing! The drive down the Gold coast is the best part of the trip so far. Picked up a wetsuit along the way, just need a bodyboard now!

Anyways, will write the trip in details later... just wanna write an entry so you all know I'm still alive! :)

I've been doing quite a bit more walking in HK than in California thats for sure. So much to see :) Its quite a different feeling taking public transit vs. driving on a freeway. I miss this kinda of human interaction. Then again I also like the freedom of a car...heh.
It's been a great few days in HK so far! Times go so fast here. You get up early to commute, you stay out late and trying to figure out how to get home. Ar.. holidays ;)
I'll try to upload some pictures soon-ish...
I can't believe how easy it is to bump into ppl on the street here, I guess HK is really small! I love how everything is so centralized (take a hint Cali!). Heh it has definitely been a blast visiting HK, its such a different way of life. Maybe I'll be back in another 4 years ha :)

Its always the last minute no matter how good your plan your packing...
Somehow I managed to pack winter AND summer clothes into my backpack. Pretty impressive eh? :) Now the question remains, where would the souvenirs go? :P

Yup...finally it came down to this...
Since my inital blog which mikkol kindly scripted for me went down and along with it goes my blogs for the past 3 years(I blame the stupid ISP), and then the blogging script that was hosted on my server also died, I finally gave in to blogger!

I really hope I'll be able to document this Hong Kong/Australia Trip properly (so I can always look back to it). It's been quite a while since I traveled outside North America. I can't wait!!! But before that I'll have to endure the neverending flights...
